FCHH Wage & Benefit Changes

Wage & Salary (Effective for Anniversary Dates after 8/1/19)
- Change in Annual Increase format (Effective for Anniversary Dates after 8/1/19)
- We reviewed the Federal COLA history formula specified by the Social Security Act and determined that the average COLA over the last 10 years is 1.5%.
- Employees now eligible for a 1.5% COLA increase and a 2.5% performance- based increase = 4%
- Those at the top of their discipline/position wage scale would still receive a 1.5% increase to hourly rate, and be eligible for 2.5% bonus based on performance
- This format will be reviewed annually and is subject to change
Amount of PTO (Effective 9/1/19)
- Add the Birthday Days and Sunny Days into the PTO accrual allowing for more flexibility with scheduling
- Increase PTO to the following scale (Sunny and Birthday Days included in numbers below). Scale is based on full-time status.
- 1-2 years 16 days (increase 1 from current)
- 3-4 years 18 days (increase 1 from current)
- 5-6 years 22 days (increase 2 from current)
- 7+ years 25 days (increase 4 from current)
- For those employees who have a birthday after the 9/1 Effective date – PTO hours will be added.
- Employees who work less than 30 hours/week – will have the ability to utilize accrued Sick Time as PTO (not limited to just sick time usage)
Mileage Reimbursement (Effective 8/1/19)
- Mileage reimbursement is to be increased to $.50/mile for all staff
401k Contribution (Effective 8/1/19)
- Increase match to half of Employee deferral up to 4% (increase from 3%)
Jury Duty Pay (Effective 8/1/19)
- Employees are eligible to up to 3 days/pay for Jury Duty per year
Moving Forward
Wage & Benefits will be reviewed annually during the 1st Quarter of each year to determine if any changes need to be made to current benefits. Staff to be notified of decisions made at that time.
